We don’t work for recognition or awards — we work to conserve energy and deliver savings for our customers. This doesn’t happen by itself. It takes a team, which includes you. Well, we’re happy to say that recognition seems to follow when you’re not working for recognition. We’ve been honored as a 2020 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year by the U.S. Department of Energy!
Every year, this program honors businesses and organizations from coast to coast that have made outstanding contributions to saving energy, saving money, and protecting the environment. Winners are selected from thousands of ENERGY STAR partners across the nation. We won this award for the first time in 2008 and are ecstatic to add another one to our trophy case!
“Having first earned Partner of the Year recognition in 2008, PSO has demonstrated year after year our commitment to helping our customers save both energy and money,” says Jeff Brown, our Energy Efficiency and Consumer Programs Manager. “We’re proud to be recognized among industry leaders in the production and sale of energy-efficient products and services, and in the development and adoption of strategies that provide substantial savings in the buildings where we work, and in our homes. All these efforts contribute to reduced emissions and create a healthy environment.”
While all winners show outstanding energy efficiency achievements, we got a special shout-out for the delivery of our energy efficiency programs, including energy-saving products, home rebates/multiple upgrades, and new homes programs.
Put simply, this award is your award too! When it comes to saving energy, we set a high goal for our company and our customers because we know that together we can achieve them. And every year we continue to surpass our goals thanks to you.
