Anti-Sweat Heat Controls
This upgrade applies to the retrofit-only installation of anti-sweat heater controls on existing glass doors for reach-in commercial refrigerators and freezers and does not apply to new construction applications.
Qualifying equipment includes any controls that reduce the run-time of door and frame heaters for refrigerated cases.
Anti-Sweat Heat Controls keep refrigerated display cases cool and clean, while saving electricity for heating and cooling by preventing the heaters from using extra energy during periods when condensation is unlikely to form.
Retrofit installation of controls on glass cooler or freezer doors that turns off the door and frame heaters based on humidity or amount of condensation.
