Commercial ice makers are used in a variety of commercial and industrial facilities for both food and patient care applications, and are classified as either batch-type/cube-type and continuous-type. Energy efficient batch-type ice makers save up to 10% more electricity and 20% more water than standard models, while energy efficient continuous-type ice makers save up to 16% more electricity.
