Tulsa’s Tristar Glass fabricates specialty glass products for design, engineering and architectural customers. Founded in 2005, the company has grown into a regional powerhouse with facilities in Oklahoma City; Houston; and Grand Prairie, Texas.
When Tristar decided to upgrade its Tulsa facility, PSO stepped up with money-saving rebates.
A Window of Opportunity
To meet growing demand, Tristar initiated a plan to install its third electric furnace — and with it, a massive new air compressor. When PSO caught wind of the project, our energy consultants approached Tristar with a strategy for savings. By upgrading its air compressors with variable frequency drives, Tristar would become eligible for a sizable rebate. More importantly, the company would save big year after year.
Brilliant Planning, Dazzling Results
Tristar Glass is all-in on efficiency. In 2017, they installed highly efficient lighting and received $4,900 in additional rebates.
But they didn’t stop there. As a Peak Performer, Tristar limits energy use during periods of high demand. In return, they receive significant rebates — and they help PSO keep energy prices affordable for everyone.
Thanks to their commitment, vision and stewardship, the whole community wins.
